The Marine Discovery Center (MDC) is a 501c-3 environmental non-profit organization with a mission of protecting and restoring Florida’s coastal and Indian River Lagoon ecosystems through education, research, and community stewardship. The newly created position of Director of Marketing will play an active role in shaping the future of MDC, the organization and overall brand, the strategic and master plans, and passionately advocate to a variety of stakeholders in support of the mission.

 

As a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Director of Marketing is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all marketing initiatives for the MDC. Working collaboratively with staff, the marketing committee and the Board as needed, the Director of Marketing will provide leadership on all brand development initiatives, create the annual marketing plan, articulate, and promote the public image of the “brand”, support programming, events, and fund development initiatives as well as digital marketing, public relations, and community outreach.  For more information about this position and how to apply click here - https://www.marinediscoverycenter.org/mdc-jobs-and-internships/
