Calling all Classroom Teachers, Administrators and EE Providers!

Is environmental education or outdoor learning taking place at your school?

What works and what doesn’t?

We are once again conducting our southeast regional landscape analysis with an improved survey and a chance to win a $50 gift card to the Outdoor Learning Store for participating!

Your perspectives, insights and expertise are needed to help us understand more about the state of environmental and outdoor education in Florida and direct future funding efforts.

Please take this 15 minute survey and let your voice be heard.  The deadline for the survey is June 2.   Prize winners will be announced in July.

Survey results will help us know where to direct funding to improve outdoor education in Florida. They will also be shared with the Southeastern Environmental Education Alliance.

In 2020 LEEF, in collaboration with counterparts in the seven other southeastern states, surveyed environmental education providers such as nature centers, public agencies, non-profits, and universities. Survey data was used to create interactive state Maps, overlaid with filterable sets of census data, and a “Field Trends Dashboard.” Check out the Provider Listing and the Map of Florida Environmental Education providers we've collected so far.

These free tools are available to you for planning purposes, to find prospective partners, or to identify gaps where schools do not have easy access to natural areas or environmental / outdoor education providers.
