This grant is for a free, one-year site license (value $599) providing unlimited access to all 55 Sylvan Dell eBooks, featuring flipviewer technology with selectable English and Spanish text and audio. The license can be used on all school computers and may be placed on secure school websites, enabling students and their families to login and have access from their homes.  Each science, math, or nature themed picturebook includes a "For Creative Minds" educational section. Teaching activities and interactive quizzes are available free online.

Grants will be awarded to one elementary school per district and are open to every district in the United States. To facilitate submission, individual schools may submit the grant application directly. Should more than one school from a single district apply, we will ask the district contact to make the selection. For our Private School friends not under district supervision, we will award licenses to the first 25 in each state.

All that is needed is broadband internet access. The eBooks will display with Windows or Mac operating systems and do not require special software, plug-ins or eBook reading devices.
