CREW Land & Water Trust


The CREW Land & Water Trust, a nonprofit organization formed in 1989, is dedicated to the preservation and stewardship of the water resources and natural communities in and around the Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed (CREW). This watershed is crucial to sustaining our water supply and providing natural flood protection. Additionally, the Trust offers educational programs for all ages. Directions
FROM INTERSTATE 75: Take Exit 123 (Corkscrew Road) east. Continue east on Corkscrew for approximately 18 miles. Our entrance, which is a bit recessed in the woods, is on the right. Blue letters, which read “CREW Marsh Trail,” are mounted on a wooden fence flanking the driveway. FROM FORT MYERS: Take Colonial Road to State Road 82 (east of I-75). Turn right on SR 82 (Immokalee Road). You’ll pass Gateway and Lehigh Acres. After passing a large cellular tower on your left, begin looking for CR 850 (Corkscrew Road). Turn right (it’s a “T” intersection). Continue SW; our entrance is about 1.5 miles on the left.

Mission
The CREW Land & Water Trust is a private, non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the preservation and stewardship of the land and water resources in and around the 60,000-acre Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed (CREW). The CREW Trust develops partnerships among landowners, businesses, governmental agencies, educators, and private organizations to acquire, manage and provide public use on CREW lands.

Specific Locations Served
The CREW Marsh Hiking Trails are located in Collier County, however, the 60,000 acre watershed spans Lee and Collier counties. Field trips are provided to all county schools.
