The Ripple Memorial Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for environmental educators in Florida to attend training about Florida’s environment. Through this education, scholarship recipients are able to return to their classroom or programs and use the skills and information learned to teach about the wonder and fragility of Florida’s natural systems. Using your gift to provide an opportunity for an educator, allows your gift reach numerous future students, youths and adults¬ through the process of environmental education.

This fund was started to commemorate the death of a member’s mother and grandmother. Annually donations are received in their memory and in memory of other family or friends. From every pebble thrown into the water, ripples flow to the farthest shores; through education, ripples flow to curious minds.

Seeing scholarship recipients attend LEEF conferences brings the memory of these people to mind. And it can be like have these loved one sitting next to you. Donate to celebrate an event in your life or to commemorate someone either living or dead. Instead of a gift of flowers, give the gift of education.
